The vendor table is the list of product names the judge can resolve an answer to. A product in it gets a page whether or not a model ever names it, and being in it does not put a product into an answer. The models name what they name; the labels, shares and verdicts are theirs.
So this form proposes a candidate for the next edition. It is not a listing, a review, or a way to change a number.
Nothing is added automatically. A submission is read, checked against the catalog for that category, and applied under a new table version with a line in the change log, or it is not applied and you are told why.
A row added now is in the table the next edition is scored against. It earns a standing only if a model names it, on the same prompts every other product faces. No prompt, weight or cutoff is changed for a submission.
Most of the table is there because a model wrote the name. 506 products in this edition were not, and each has a page saying exactly that, with the products the models named instead. That is the honest result and it is published as it is.
There is no fee for this and no faster path. A claim is free, and it neither adds a product to an answer nor changes a label. If the product is already in the table, its page is on the vendors list and can be claimed there instead.
